I snapped one of the grab handle bolts installing the handle. I cannot find anything online for replacement. Hopefully I can remove what's left of the broken bolt. Any source or part number for one or two of these? 100_9257.JPG

I got the broken stud out and went to the local hardware to see if I could find a suitable solution. Seems to be a 5MM bolt but they won't screw all the way into the bracket, similar to the original. Salesman suggest to run a tap through the bracket so the 5MM would screw all the way through and lock nut the position I need. Still looking a couple original factory ones.

Go to your local Pick-Your-Part type salvage yard. You'll be able to get the exact bolt. The bolt was used for many years in Expeditions and Navigators. My local PYP has a website where you can see if they have the truck models you are looking for before you go.
I see that Michigan has 19 such PYP; possibly one is near you.

You can order them from Ford Parts. I did the same thing, because they’re aluminum. Go figure. Here’s the part number. In order to remove it, I carefully drilled it out and used an easy-out. I experienced a little pucker factor but it came out. Good luck.
