Have a 2015 XLT w Ecoboost and 149K miles. Having intermittent issue with turbo boost going into limp mode while on highway. If turn off truck and restart condition goes away. Replaced waste gate valve (blow-off valve) at bottom of intercooler several weeks ago as one measure to rectify when 1st started occurring; found no tears in diaphragm but felt best to replace while there. Last 2 occurrences of boost into limp mode (12/26 and 1/5) also found my JTL catch can to be full of liquid. Can the full liquid level be causing this intermittent condition? What about Turbo Control solonoid - should I replace this as component in this issue? PCV replaced in Feb 2020. Appreciate recommendations.

What is turbo boost limp mode?

Do you receive a warning message that states that?

Happened again tonight on way home, cold truck got soon on highway and significant drop in power; cannot hear turbos spool up and provide boost. Can hit gas and get trans to shift, but much less power than when boost is there. Hit some traffic, put in neutral and re-started....problem gone. Dumped JTL can day prior, so doubt this was full. What think? Go replace turbo solonoid?

If the cost isn’t high - replacing the solenoid could not hurt.

When you replaced the PCV valve - was it dirty and clogged?

Took advice and bought new PCV and the turbo solonoid. Total $77. Fingers crossed that problem is solved

Cool you can replace the PCV, on many Ford engines it is integral to the valve cover.
