What was the fix for the OPs problem? I have an 09 and my charging system light came on. I found that even though I installed a new battery less than a year ago, my positive post was corroded. I cleaned the post and clamp and the problem went away. I would like to know if OP was a simple fix too...

Looks like he never came back. I would start by checking continuity on the gen Mon and gen com that run to the pcm fro. The alt. Seems to be pretty common for the conductors to break in the harness back to the pcm. I've repaired 3 of these including my own with a wire broken. Once I found them I just ran a new wire and soldered the ends to good existing wire.
