My 2017 3.5 ecoboost with 6r80 transmission has recently (in the past 2 weeks) developed a clunking/slamming under light to moderate acceleration such as when climbing a slight grade at speed. When I am accelerating in any gear (usually higher gears because it shifts out of lower gears too soon to manifest the problem) it will repeatedly clunk/slam (not just noise but a can feel it through the vehicle).

Details:
- have only owned this vehicle for about 3-4 months
- 130,000 miles
- not associated with shifting
- happens in multiple (any) gear(s)

Thanks in advance for any input.

I can upload a video later today if necessary

Did you ever figure this out? The one thing I could think of is it's possible that it's the two-piece drive shaft slip yoke. When the grease dries up it tends to be quite clunky. Mine is starting to exhibit similar issues again. The last time I did The fix was about 40,000 mi ago. Time to pull that joint apart again and re-lubricate. Wondering if this could be your problem.
