Nothing I hate more then pulling up and having to wait, by law for someone to do it for me...

If you're looking for a 2017 with higher mileage, the rental companies, like Hertz will be cheaper than a dealer. The rental companies also give and offer good warranties.

That's awful... 2.37 for regular/ 2.85 for premium in NJ the added economy I get is well worth the difference to me.
Just got gas here at home (TN) and regular was 2.18, mid-grade was 2.69, and premium was 2.99 .....

The up side to rentals is that you can be fairly sure that the vehicle was well-maintained. The down side is that many people beat on rentals. Thinking about it logically though, most people that rent an Expedition aren't driving it like a sports coupe.
Its actually the maintenance technicians at the rental yards that are going to cause you headaches. They will swap parts to keep the lower mileage fleet vehicles in the lineup, this is especially true of the small trim pieces, cupholder inserts, floor mats, weather stripping. all real small innocuous stuff you wouldn't notice until your crawling around looking for your wives wedding ring that fell off and you notice that the seats are missing the plastic covers over the mounting brackets.
