2017 Expedition XLT - I had the battery out of the car for awhile while I replaced both turbos on it. Once I was finished and ready to charge the coolant system I installed a new battery. When I turn the key on a lot of warning messages come up on the dashboard. Some of them make sense, some do not. They are “LOW Engine Oil Pressure”, “Engine Coolant Over Temperature”, “Service AdvanceTrac”, “See Manual”, “Trailer Brake Module Fault”, “Starting System Fault”. When I go to crank the motor I just hear some clicks. I checked battery voltage, switched batteries with another known good one, pulled the started off and bench tested it. If I pull the starter relay and jump it the engine cranks but won’t start even with ignition on in the run position.

Are there any PATS system warning's (or an Anti-Theft Flashing Light?)
It could be Anti-Theft problem preventing the vehicle from starting.

Also, check all connections to the PCM.

Check all relays & fuses, if any of them (or 2, 3, 4 etc) are bad, it will cause the multiple warning light syndrome you are seeing... I know on my 011 EL, I was having issues with no-crank/no start and what I thought was the PATS, which turned out to be ok in the end, but it took 5 trips to 3 different stealerships and $3k worth of diagnostics & parts to finally get fixed, that was almost a year ago & I haven't had any problems with it since...fingers crossed :)

The last tech I talked to explained that many of the systems that rely on relays are also interconnected to each other as well as the PATS and the PCM, and any codes with any of them causes the flashing padlock, which supposedly is the only way for it to let you know there is some type of problem...
