2017 Expedition Seat Swap

I have an Expedition EL thats running great but would like to swap out the 2nd and 3rd row seats with some from a 2018+ if possible. The main reason is a lack of headrest for the middle passengers.

Has this been done before or does anyone have any solid answers (yes or no)?

On the 4th gen the 3rd row center seat belt is mounted to the roof rather than the seat like it is on the 3rd gen. They are not compatible

Thanks for the info. I was hoping this wasn’t the case. Does the 2nd row also have the same setup?
