I just added the trans cooler to my 2017. Here is the prats and prices I found online from Byers Ford. This was about half the price my local dealer wanted to charge me.

7L1Z-7A095-B Trans Cooler $87.11
FL1Z-7C410-A Inlet Tube $8.18
BL3Z-7B028-C Lower Return Tube $27.76
9L8Z-7Z465-A Cooler Pipe Retainer Clip $2.76

I did not need the Retainer Clip. My factory one came off with out breaking. I just got it as a insurance policy.

Thanks for this! I’ll keep it handy when it comes time. My transmission temp runs around 200 degrees without a trailer, and after towing about 5,000 lbs up to the mountains from Phoenix in some pretty good heat it only went up to 219. What does your transmission temp run at with the cooler both towing and regular driving?

Just driving on the roads, hammering on the trans some. I was seeing temps ~170. This was prep work to tow our new trailer from Spokane, WA to San Diego. My trans temps with out the cooler and not towing were 195 - 203.
I will try and update this thread after my first long tow.

I installed my trans cooler in April, my average non-towing temperature doesn’t seem much lower, still around 199, but it never got above 204 at the hottest when towing my 8300# boat+trailer in southwest Florida last week in high 90s temperature. That’s all I wanted it to do, so good to go in my book, obviously not mountainous terrain, though.

Similar temp range for me running curb in Florida (2018 XLT 4WD). I'll find my towing temps when I head out west in a few months
