2018 Cruise control not working

I have a 2018 XLT FX4. The cruise control will not work. The buttons on the left of the steering wheel do nothing. My wife started noticing that it would say front camera malfunction on the info screen about a week before it quit. Our Expedition doesn’t have a front camera… what should I check first? Cruise control module? Steering wheel buttons? Clock spring? Is there any way of narrowing down the issue?

First? Have the vehicle scanned for any trouble codes.

Finally came back to update.

Changing the steering wheel switches didn’t fix the issue. The ford part # SW-7449 apparently isn’t the right switch panel. Didn’t figure that out until my daughter noticed afterwards #facepalm.

It has a recall 24E13 so I guess I’ll have them look at it when I take it in.

i had a problem with cruise control - after long checking it came i had to change my abs pump - after it - every works fine
