2020. Violent jerking when shifting to Drive from Park

Ours was doing this. The flash seemed to help at first, but then it came back for reasons nobody could explain. Along with other transmission issues.

When they flash the software it clears the KAM table. The 10 speed in my mustang does this every 3-4000 miles.

Does anyone know if independent mechanics do the flash? Not wanting to pay for a rental car for 4 weeks while the dealership waits to diagnose a frriggin software flash.
