I saw an article somewhere during the release that said the expected towing capacities would be about the same as last gen. That would be a pretty big miss if that's the case, since the GMs are about 1000 lbs shy of the Expy. For me, that is what actually got me to the Ford dealer to check them out.
Same here. Particularly since the Z71 has been limited to 6000lbs max.

It will be interesting to see if all models with the air suspension have reduced towing capacity. That's a shame if this is the case, since the air suspension would be helpful to reduce rear squat when towing.

They are still using the obsolete 6.2L pushrod motor (HO HUM BORING)
GM has a great dual turbo V6 & Cadillac has the dual turbo V8
That is what should be offered in these vehicles
Then & only then would I consider buying one of them
For me it will always be a recalibrated ECOBOOST engine in my vehicles:burnout:
NOW watch this post blow up
Merry Christmas Everyone

Ford just introduced the all new 7.3L gas V8 Godzilla engine for the Super Duty's, and it's also a pushrod engine. I'm sure the packaging would be difficult in the Expedition, but it would be a cool powertrain option for the Expy.

Lol dude you are off your rocker. Ford just introduced a brand new pushrod Big Block 7.3L V8 engine for the F-250+ by the way.
