I purchased a 2022 Expedition Platinum in the Spring, trading in a 2018 Expedition XLT.
Unfortunately, last winter I purchase Blizzak tires for my 2018, and there are nearly brand new.
I was wondering if there was a way I can use them on my new Expedition.

I confess that figuring out wheel and tire size compatibility seems like black magic to me.

My current wheels are (I believe) the factory 22s with 6 spokes, and the tires read:
285/45 R22 114H

The Bizzaks are:
P275/65 R18 114R

The tire calculator I found online (see attached) seems to think there is a negligible difference in the outer diameters...so I should be good?
Just need to find some 18 inch rims in the correct blot pattern?

I guess I could always get some snow tires to fit the factory 22 rims, but to be honest I don't love the stiff ride and would like a little more sidewall.
I would try a set of 20" ford wheels before 18".

My 2020 has 20" hankooks and seems to ride OK. I gave my parents my 18" F-150 wheels/tires and they drastically improved their 2022 Max Platinum's ride to where it rides better than mine, especially on roads with a lot of pavement cracks.

My F-150 notes on the switch:
(OEM) 275/55/20 hankook dynapro at-m 113T = 41lbs
(OEM) 20x8.5 alloy wheels = 36lbs
(new) AR914 18x8.5 = 29.65lbs
(new) 265/70/18 Michelin Defender LTX M+S 116T SL = 40lbs

They didn't have to do anything special with cutting rear axles or other shenanigans like that to make them fit, either.
