Finally got my Expedition after 8+ months of waiting and anxious updates. Picked her up from the dealer on 8/31, drove 6 miles to the tire shop to add the 305/35/24 Nittos on 24” Ferrada FT3’s. Finally she spent two weeks getting the chrome trim blacked out, windows tinted 35% all around and front/pano covered in 80% clear film. Last but not least the entire truck got STEK DYNOmatt paint protection film and topped with ceramic coating. So happy to have it finished and ready for daily family life.

I notice you had all the badges like Limited and E X P E D I T I O N front and back removed. was that needed to apply film or can they cut in around those? and you just wanted them gone?

Some places offer to cut around them, mine instead taped them all well and used fishing line to remove them so they were still in proper spacing. They said they can reapply them after it cures in 2-3 weeks if I want but I'm kind of liking the look with it badge-less.

Can you ballpark what you spent to get this done? What would be your thoughts on this for the tri coat white?
