I had my 23’ Stealth in for vibration and rubbing/grinding noise at start up. Vibration isn’t bad, I hardly drive it, wife does. I figured with 30k miles I need to rotate and balance, so they did. They also didn’t find any noise at startup. However I’ve since captured an audio file. It’s kinda long but listen to the end where I tap the throttle, it’s the same rattling/rubbing noise. See SSM52610 and 52295. I am curious if you guys experiencing vibration also hear this noise. If the bolts are loose to the flex plate, or under torqued, this would definitely cause a vibration. Replace the xx with tt

That noise is the wastegate, scratch that theory.

I'm considering purchasing a 2024 Limited non-Max with SPP (304A). I have three at area dealers on my radar, but I haven't driven any of them yet. One was built over a year ago and another was built in February. They both have General Grabbers on them. The third was built a month ago and has Pirelli Scorpion tires. Hmmm...
I noticed the latest Expedition with 22" wheels to show up at the dealer now has Pirelli Scorpion Verde's on it as well. Maybe Ford finally figure out the General's were crap?! I chose the Scorpion AS Plus 3's and couldn't be happier. We even gained 1-2 mpg with the change.

24 Expedition Limited Max 4x4 with stealth performance edition, ccd w/sport tune and controltrac. $92,815 sticker and I have the same exact vibration issue. It's been at dealer twice had the grabbers replaced with continentals (10 tires total), been balanced many different times including multiple RFB and no change. I have to take it in a 3rd time and just found this thread which doesn't give me much hope as I didn't read a real solution. I have a master mechanic looking at it tomorrow before I take back to dealer. If anyone has an update on any solutions other than Michelin or Pirelli tires please post.

The solution for ours was in the tires. No vibration since that change.

Update: after 2+ months in the shop and the ford engineers investigating... They put Michelin defenders on on said the vibration is gone. I drive it, no change. In the meantime my buyback was approved and settled. I still wanted a limited expedition max, but test drive 8 at different lots and all did the same thing above 50 and way worse at 70+. I then switched to the platinum to see if the upgrade would help .. 4 of those same results and then I drive 1 platinum max without the max trailer tow package, and it was beautiful. However I need the tow package. So my buyback is set for next week, I bought a 2024 new platinum sight unseen from another state because they have me an unbelievable deal ($94,255 MSRP out the door with no money down $85,900.87), just picked it up and it's the worse one I've driven yet .. design flaw for sure!

I'm going to have them start with the front drive train. I've read recently issues with the front drive shaft and that 4 wheel drive not fully disengaging causing issues with vibration. Fingers crossed they will be able to fix or it's another buy back in a few months.

PS. I think some people are experiencing vibration/shutter due to flat spots on the cheap factory tires and others like myself are having that tire issue combined with something else. While a lot of the vehicles I test drove experienced similar vibration issues several were much worse. Turns out the 2 2024 expedition max I own have a much worse vibration issue 65+ than most others. To explain the issue a little more... It feels like something is rubbing and there's a low bass like hum that kicks in above 35 mph and the vibration starts but it's subtle. Then as you go faster it comes and goes, and 65+ it's foot numbing vibrations. It has actually put me to sleep twice... Thank heaven for the driver assist braking to wake me up. Never happened to me before in my life.

Wait. What? You drove 13. 13? And they all had a vibration but one? Then you go buy an $86K vehicle sight unseen? That one does it too, and you still bought it? Am I confused or missing something?

I got Michelin defenders on the new platinum. It was a 50% improvement. Pretty smooth up to 50mph. But still vibrating over that, but much less. Supporting my suspicion that it's a compound issue.
