Well here is the final product - 2024 Expedition Timberline

Tires:

BFG All Terrain T/A LT285/70/18

These tires are very quiet and clearly have much stronger sidewalls that the OEM Stock Wranglers do not have. So some drivability issues are better just with the tire change.
Not an inexpensive tire, but clearly worth the money

Sway Bar:
Hellwig - 7/8" Rear Sway Bar Ford 07-24 Expedition/Navigator 2WD/4WD
Part Number: 7688

This sway bar makes a big difference in the drivability issues, mostly the wallowing and sway in the back end. But I need to drive it more to really have an option.
About 30min to install if you have a rack

I did not do the front sway bar based on info here with mixed positive and negative experiences but this is the part number for it:

Hellwig - 1-1/2" Front Sway Bar Kit Ford/Lincoln 07-22 Expedition/Navigator
Part Number: 7696

Skid Plate:
Ford Expedition 2022-2025 Transmission Underbody Shield
NL1Z5D032C - https://www.ford.com/product/underbody-shield-transmission-p2942295897
30 Minute Install or less - Links show raw metal - it came black powdercoated

This vehicle will get many other mods over time since it is a demo vehicle for my job. Especially on the inside. But those will come later when I can give it up for a month or more for the upfitting.

Thanks to all for the tips and info in here.

I like those tires, but I only have 5,000 miles on my Timberline and don't drive it enough. I think the only issue I have with it is the "tippiness" (I don't know what the correct term for it is) whereby in short/sharp turning it feels "top heavy" so if the BFGs help with that I could get inspired to change.

I will know later this week after more driving - the tipiness / wolowing / sloshy feeling is real and really bothered me. Especially at slightly higher speeds on curves.

So far the tires and sway bar seem to really help those issues.

I can confirm that the new rear sway bar does help quite a bit to reduce the sway and wollow. That said I am pretty sure it is a combination of the new sway bar and the tires.

Seriously considering the front but would like more input from anyone that has done that modification.

Have the front put-on too. Let us know how you like it. I have only done a cursory look at Hellwig posts here but so far they appear very positive.

Just a little extra advice. I just installed new Hellwig front and rear anti sway bars on my 2024 Timberline. The swish, swosh movement DISAPPEARED . Very happy with the upgrade . My Timberline now rides like my grand marquis with 416,000 miles. Steady and smooth.:) I am NOT going to get sea sick now. To finish this ride improvement, I will be looking for quality tires with a stiffer sidewall. I am a goodyear type of guy so that is the brand I will use.

I will probably end up doing the front next. As for the tires, I am pretty happy with the BFG's - Smooth ride - quieter than my stock ones.

Did you do this yourself? I couldn't find a youtube for an Expy install but looked at Hellwig's F150 and it feels like something that you'd want a lift for.

I did not - I just gave it to my local shop and then did it in under an hour. Also post install - Probably want the alignment checked.
