Just purchased the top of the line Expedition -left with a vibration - took it back for the balance and still vibration - known issue but not being fixed What in the world are we supposed to do it's miserable to drive it on the highway and we have a long trip coming up and we bought it specifically for that! 93k and this is what we get?

Ideas? What the heck are we supposed to do it's beautiful but so very uncomfortable to drive shaking!

Ask the dealer to exchange your wheels for smaller wheels.

In the future - don’t purchase and accept a new vehicle that has a defect when you take delivery.

There could be a more serious suspension or driveline issue, and not just out-of-balance tires or rims.

We've owned expeditions and just assumed it would be fixed - and yes we know we should have not taken it off of the lot but we did - would rather hear from someone that has a suggestion thanks

What do you mean “known issue and not being fixed?”

Perhaps nobody can feel it but you.
I’m just failing to grasp how something, supposedly, that bad can not be fixed by tech that can feel it too. Leave it at the dealer and talk to management.
Perhaps more to this story?

They have posted some kind of "alert" that the tires are a know issue - they feel it - they know it - they haven't given us a fix yet We will be leaving it there

Does yours have 24 inch wheels? If so, there's a Special Service Message about tire flat spotting. Looks like the only remedy is to tell the customer to change their driving habits until the problem goes away, though there is one mention of replacing the tires.

There is a keyword here — 'tire supplier'. If I understand correctly, does this mean the issue is with the tire formula rather than the wheel hub?

Did you purchase it from dealer inventory? Did you feel the vibration on the test drive?

Well there you go. Couldn’t be any easier to fix. Your OP alluded to something that might have the dealer baffled.

Pretty sure they are baffled though they said it was a flat in the tires - nope it's not BUT they are working with us and ordered new tires to try if that doesn't work then putting on 22's

That sucks. id make them go through 24's until i got a set that didnt have an issue. You paid for 24's.....get em! There is NOTHING more frustrating than a dealer that doesn't/cant/wont complete an easy or identified task. I know it might cost them in the short run, until ford reimburses them....but going above and beyond makes for lifetime customers. I had a similar experience getting the door code module installed on my bronco raptor. Worked out in the end, but we shouldn't have to question them or accept a stupidly high labor quote. Not everybody believes the old blinker fluid bit.

I would never take delivery on a vehicle that didn't ride the way it should.
