2025 Opening the Lift Gate with the Remote Question

My 2025 Active Expedition has a Setting under the Settings Menu to A) Open the Upper Lift Gate ONLY or B) Open BOTH Upper and Lower Gates. I keep setting mine to "Open Upper Liftgate Only", but it still resorts to opening BOTH upper & lower gates... I've tried Saving Profile settings, but the liftgate is not part of the profile settings for either remote. So, my question is, how do I set my liftgate settings in the menu to ONLY OPEN THE UPPER LIFTGATE WITH THE REMOTE, and actually KEEP this setting?

I am having the same issue. Seems like this software is very glitchy

It is as if they don't test each and every feature before releasing the vehicle.

There was a software update roughly a month ago that said it was part 1 of a 2 part update aimed at fixing the issue. The second update hasn't happened...
