I have a 21 Max Limited without CCD sitting on 20" wheels and crappy tires from dealer. I searched for custom lift ideas, but it seems like most are concerning CCD vehicles.

I'd like to upgrade suspension and get enough lift for some bigger tires without pushing the geometry too far. I understand that any lift will impact wear and ride. Has anyone come up with a great recipe? I'd like to fit 34"+ tires up to 35" and will likely go to 18" wheels, but that is still being sorted. I live on acreage, drive gravel, and also do some longer highway trips. Unfortunately, I have the auto running boards.

I'd like higher quality components than Rough Country shocks/struts, so I'm thinking some sort of Frankenstein kit to optimize the outcome.

Thank you for any ideas!

You can’t go wrong with KINGS. If you can afford it…

ICON also has a kit.

Bilsteins with your choice of UCAs and the Rough Country rear arms seems to be the most popular franken-lift.

18mm backspacing on wheels might be the sweet spot to avoid most of the rubbing, but that also depends on how big of a tire you run.
