I have a 22 expedition max xlt 4x4 with the ecoboost. Recently it developed a front end vibration that can be felt in the accelerator pedal, slightly in steering wheel and also somewhat heard between 36mph and 45mph. It has 114k on it, I purchased new and it has had no prior issues. It spent the past 2 weeks at the local ford dealer getting diagnosed/ repaired but to no prevail. At first they said it was the tires, but they are newer so they rotated, balanced and did full alightment but still had issue. Then they replaced the driver side CV axel assemble and issue still is there. When the problem started, there was a tick tick tick tick noise that accompanied the vibration in the given speed range that has now turned into a humming sound with replacement of the CV. Ford checked the rest of front end components and everything is tight so they are scratching their heads. It is going back to shop next week for them to figure out and make right since they actually put on the record that vibration is no longer present when clearly it is the same. Open to suggestions to try and guide techs.
Also does anyone have a direct contact with Ford about a bs powertrain warranty that came with vehicle from dealer in knoxville tn but was not honored ?
