Hi all I’m in the process of replacing head gaskets and doing a pi swap at the same time on my 5.4
My question is my current npi intake has cmcv or imrc whatever it’s called
But my later aluminium upper pi intake does not have it on the lower plenum. My options are
1. Swap intakes and leave unplugged error code?
2. Remove motor and leave plugged in?
3. The npi and pi have different plenum gaskets can I swap lowers?
4. On a mustang forum they show a rather basic relay circuit can be made to fool the pcm.
I am in the uk so tuners and tunes are hard to come by so a tune is going to be difficult at present
Any other ideas
