After driving the truck a couple of days the compressor stopped engaging, so I ended up removing all shims from the clutch hub. Working fine now.

As long as it disengages fine with no dragging noise you should be good to go. Is it quiet with no scraping noise when you turn the AC off ?

No scraping noises. I think I caused a small burr on the surface installing the pulley and the hub took a couple of days to wear it off.
