Hi
please have the 2006 XLT 5,4 4x4 model.
the rear differential has a slip and is locked. as soon as the 4x4 or 4x4 Lo is selected, the front differential mount but will never lock. always is my car is max 4x3 :(.
please have any kit or re-conversion of the front differential at SLIP????
I do not have EB only XLT and no electronic track control model.

If you just want a limited slip differential (like the rear's...) you can get one aftermarket like...

They offer better traction than an open axle, but without the weird clicking that a true locker produces.


Or, if you want a locker type you can use the stock carrier and install something like the Spartan Locker. It will work in the Ford's 8.8 front axle. Pretty easy install. I locker will make a clicking sound in tight turns on dry pavement. Some people find that annoying.
