Gotta question. Any ideas of a good spot, on the battery side, to run 0 gauge power wire thru the fire wall? Poked around a bit, but cant find a place to run it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There should be a dimple on the driver side around the valve cover that is used for the clutch master cylinder on the sister trucks. The passenger side is loaded with a/c and heat goodies.

I wired my 08 with my fire department lights and had to run a 12 power and a 12 ground through the driver side. I pushed through a HUGE grommet under the dash on the driver side. I need to run about 4 more 16g through it and there is plenty of room.

I actually ended up running down the frame rail under the battery through a grommet under the passenger seat. Seemed the easiest and least instrusive way to run 0g wiring. I attached the negative side to the frame and used it as my ground wire so to speak as I just ran the amps directly to the frame for ground as well.

battery still on the pass side right? on my of I didn't have to go through a grommet...I was able to find a spot in the corner of the firewall and push the 4ga through...came right out at the top of the foot-well on the pass side...not sure if that will be there for you or not...if you can get a flashlight to be in the corner prob need someone to do it and u get on the floor u should be able to see it if its there on your year/model

Don't forget to fuse the end connected to the battery. If the 0ga ever shorted to the frame it could do some serious damage like melting some metal or splitting lead plates in the battery.

This what I did on my 2004. There was 2 1/2 hole in the firewall that had a big rubber plug in it. I removed the plug and stamped a 1/2 hole in the center of it. Made a nice air tight grommet.
