It probably turns off the pumped in engine noise.

Platinums have active noise reduction. That should be enabled. The 2nd option there is the fake engine noise in Sport. It should be disabled.

I am pretty sure the 2016 Platinums had it. If you have a copy of your Window Sticker, it will be mentioned.

I'll give that a look. I know for some reason, the truck had the DRL disabled when we bought it, so I'm curious if this was turned off as well. Thanks!
