Picked up a 2022 Navigator for the wife and hoping to do a few things in Forscan and just curious if these changes are possible?
Looking to do Bambi mode and have fog lights as the DRLs
Would also like to raise the temp on the heated steering wheel and reset the transmission adaptive learning and turn it off.
Is it possible to have the vehicle default to Conserve mode instead of Normal? Conserve is plenty fine for the wife.

The new Forscan has an As-Built section. There you can safely make mods. But be sure to back up your system and backup every time you change something.

So I am mildly familiar with ForScan as I had a 2016 Expedition years ago and fooled with a few things in the spreadsheet days and there a couple as built/drop down changes at the time.

I am interested to see if these things are a possibility.
I have moved away from Microsoft and just have Mac stuff now.
So don’t want to buy a laptop and another wired Dongle and then find out I can’t do what I want.

I know I can do the Transmission stuff with ForScan lite and my OBDLink MX+ but not much else

Congrats on the buy!

Well, for starters, FORScan still only has full functionality with Windows based PC's, so Mac is out of the question. I've heard some people in similar situation as yourself where they've gotten very cheap Windows tablet PC's (step above Chromebooks) for this sort of thing.

That said, you should be able to mimic anything that we do. Simplest way is to do the "AS-BUILT" procedure using drop-down menus to adjust features. So far everything you're wanting to do should be modifiable with the exception of the drive mode. This will always default to Normal. There is a lot of discussion on this on the F-150 boards, but no easy solution.

I've used a Mac with Forscan on my f150 and now expedition by utilizing Crossover. It allows you to run windows programs. The only extra step I had to do was enable the USB port to recognize the obdlink cable. It sounds complicated, but it's really not. I found some good tutorials just by googling and the crossover website.
