Did you measure stock? My guess would be no. So your scale is off most likely.

D’s math is dead on.

Our 2015 had 34’s. GPS calibrated stock it was off a fair amount(Don’t remember percentage exactly). Once lifted and with 34’s it was actually closer to accurate based on GPS. My guess is yours was off Stock, so therefore the effect your taller tires had was less.
I’m not stupid, I had everything calibrated prior to and after so maybe I’m just a rare anomaly

OK, thought you meant you went to 35 aspect ratio tires. Anyways, the difference between 275/55-20 (31.9" tall) and a 35" tall tire is almost 10%. So, if your speedo was dead on with the original tires, at an indicated 70 mph with the 35" tires, you would be going about 77 mph. Now, about being only 2 mph off, all things being equal and linear, you would be only 2 mph off at 20 mph. So, not sure how you calculated anything, but that is the cold hard math of the situation. Math is really quite simple; if you need help, let me know.
Calculated everything before and after at 35, 45, 55 and 75 mpg. Highest difference was about 2mph

Don't know if this helps but here's what my 2000 Eddie Bauer looks like with 285/50/20's with Kumho street rubber, and what I think is a 2 1/2 inch lift.d8ea286cbd7666888295fc1b81443744.jpge1a6b2ebfdce6a92e409fe3fa2ee4b86.jpgde0fea80c8d93eb9eeaa860b4f203453.jpg13c11c0a42c0157930b5ec08080e5215.jpg

Here is a simple tire size calculator that you plug in your stock size then plug in what you want to run. It will tell you just how much you Speedo will be off.

Anyone know what the largest 18” will fit on a factory wheel and stock height ride without rubbing?

Check out Custom offsets. If you don’t see one with the tire size listed, they can tell you pretty accurately what will fit

Ummm Larger tire slows the speedo b/c it turns less. Smaller tire increases speedo b/c turns more. So 70 will show as 68 on dash.
