Anyone hear/use the Mangoal Dashcam, similar to Fitcamx one?

Looking to get a decent front/rear dash cam for our 2020 Exp Max Ltd. Love that this one appears factory. She does not want any kind of screen on the dash so thought this was a great option. Any thoughts or opinions. Thanks

FitcamX is great… super easy and clean install… I have no desire for rear camera so I have no idea how hard it to run that wire, but the front is. 5 min or less, hidden, app works (and after install u need to change the resolution from default)..;I don’t want GPS or Speed. The point of the camera is to prove some one else is at fault not that I could have contributed…

Looked at the Fitcam X website and do not see Expedition specifically listed. I am looking for one for a 2020 limited stealth with the full sensor package (rain sensing/autodimming and so on). Anyone got a recommendation for easy plug and play?

I emailed them and sent them a pic of my rearview mirror and they asked if i had the rain sensor. They told me to order the kit for the 2023 Expy. It's on its way so we shall see. They have multiple options for power supply. I just want something that doesn't have a screen, looks stock, and works decent. I don't care about GPS or an interior camera. Have a 2020 Max LTD.

I just installed the Mangoal dash cam in my 2019 Expedition LTD today (purchased at $35 discount during Prime days last month). Very easy installation and it's barely visible behind the mirror. Video looks good. It announces that it is starting recording when you start the car. I installed the RAV4 equivalent Mangoal dash cam in my wife's 2024 RAV4 Prime in July. That one was a little trickier to install but it works great and we haven't had any problems with it. I can control both of them with one app on my iPhone. The only caveat is that to access the video on your phone you have to connect to the Mangoal's WiFi. That means disconnecting from the Expy hotspot or home WiFi, and having no internet access. Not really an issue after setting it up - you only need to connect when you want to offload the videos or photos. You might watch for Black Friday discounts.

UPDATE: Installed both the FitcamX front and rear cameras. So far so good. The front looks factory and is barely visible. Installation was very easy and the power comes from a jumper harness that plugs into the rain sensor. (I think they have other options for power depending on what you want.) The whole install looks very factory. A separate cable plugs into the front camera and I ran that to the liftgate in the rear. Rear camera installs with sticky tape. Hardest part of the rear install was getting the cable through the rubber boot on the liftgate. I think the video quality is good and it suits are needs well. There are fancier and I'm sure better quality cameras out there but I'm satisfied.
