Anyone know the part number to swap the two usb port module that sits to the left of the wireless charging pad in the center console, to a newer ford one, same size, that includes 1 usb-c port?

There should be another post about this because I remember seeing one. IIRC, there was zero advantage to it except being able to use a USBC cable, the charging power didn't change that was being supplied to it so it didn't charge any faster.

What he said. The other end is an old style micro usb. Not enough power for today’s accessories. I just changed my bin out for a non wireless bin as well.

So I can attest to this a little bit. I actually did this swap and will try to find the one I removed for a part number. I went from the 2x USBA to 1/1 USBA USBC and it seemed to work fine. However, as others said, it doesn't provide any added functionality. i.e. no additional power output. I would say within about 2 months of swapping it, and this could very well be just happenstance but I started having lots of APIM issues. it took 4 service visits, a new APIM, all sorts of stuff to figure out why none of my USB ports would work. they all provided 5V power, but none would connect to the head unit. Eventually they replaced the USB cable in the dash that connects all of the ports to the APIM and it worked. Moral of the story and I don't think it had anything to do with my swapping ports, but it sucked. So I'm back to the 2x USBA. I since found a super small USBA to USBC adaper that just lives in the port.

The charging situation is terrible, so I bought a charger to go into the 12v "cigarette lighter" outlet on the dash. It is small enough to close the door flush when not in use. This charger does up to 45 watts! I never knew "super fast charging" existed on my Samsung phone until connecting to one of these. I used to think "fast charging" was the upper limit.
