This part of the dash panel under the climate control with vent holes. Maybe part of climate control

Anyone know what this it is for?

Thinking about taking the dash apart to see what was or is there. Might be connected to this hose I spotted last night, maybe.

Any info is welcome, and its functions if possible.

For those who looked and did not know what the vent holes are for here you go. I pulled the dash out. No one knew what the vent holes were for not even three dealers they only show two and the one for the EATC does not shows the vent (misprint in my opinion). Here is what is behind the vents and the white hose did connect to it.

That still doesn't tell me what it's for!! Where does the white hose go? Do you know what it's function is? Would you care to share? :)

Took me years to figure out what 99WHiteC5Coupe tells you above. That's how the climate control senses the inside temperature. Cars with manual controls (XLT) either don't have the holes or they do nothing.
