Anyone try taking of the gauge needles?

mine was a pita... love the blue needles will need to buy those and a new cluster set, to bad they dont make the needles in green

I think they do or maybe they did.
If not, pull off the stock ones and paint them.
I did that before I got the blue ones

I know this thread is super old but I was able to find a 01 navigator dash I bought some aftermarket svt lighting white dash stickers I removed the old orange needles with a fork... But I made a huge mistake I didn't mark where the needles where positioned before I removed them from the original cluster. Now I know I have $60 dollars in gas in the tank but the low fuel light will come on even though the needle is no where near empty any idea on how I could fix this issue. Do I enter test mode on the dash and TEST gauges will they calibrate back to normal? Btw this a 01 XLT I did the whole solder the odometer pins in the back. I went from having 209k miles to 309k on the dash??
