Auto Start Stop in the 2026

The Auto Start Stop in the 2026 can't be permanently disabled (based on my research). If I'm wrong, please explain in a reply. It's not a very valuable feature to leave activated (unless you push its off button every time you start the car).

Prior to 2026, the aftermarket add-on to override this was designed to connect to the power cable under the cordless smartphone charger (for about $100). 2026 no longer has a cordless smartphone charger or a 2026 redesigned cable.

The 2026 excape auto stop delete goes behind the instrument panel. Not sure if expy the same. 2024 expy auto stop delete goes under center dash panel

There is a new version out already for the 2026. I am sure most of realize this since nobody seems to respond to this thread.

Fairly easy. You just have to be somewhat flexible
