WTF? Why has my 2025?Expedition Window Auto Down feature on my driver door had to be reset 3 F’n times this week alone? DAMN, I miss my 2021! It was flawless, and this 2025 has been a software nightmare, to say the least! I roll my window down to remove the dew from it and when I roll it back up, it goes back down on its own and stops about 4” from closing completely. I’m having difficulty resetting it this time also. Please advise!

I would advise to take the vehicle to your Ford dealer to have it repaired under terms of the new-vehicle warranty.

I'm having the same problem, how did you reset it previously? It seemed to fix itself (maybe I reset it without knowing and/or it pushed an update that reset it) but now it's back.

In my case I had a similar problem on my 2023 SPP. I had to reset the up down limits manually a few times, but as the windows loosened it stopped being a problem.

But if you have it happen a lot, report it to the dealer in case you need warranty work later.

On my 2021 I had the same thing. I pushed on the window as it went up. The window stopped in the same place. I pulled on the window as it went up. It went up all the way. As it turned out, the weather stripping at the corner nearest the rear view mirror was bunching up causing enough resistance to make the window stop.

Talk about CRAZY! My 25 Expedition Active has had an issue with not retaining the tailgate setting to open Upper Liftgate ONLY when using the remote. It will do it the first time then it goes back to opening BOTH upper & lower again. So, I’ve left it alone for over a week. Today, I needed to load up a fold up wagon in the back so I used the remote to open both Top & Lower gates because it always does, and this time, it only opens the Top…. You can’t make this $hit up!
ALSO, I performed the Window Bounce Back RESET over 10 times yesterday and just gave up and went in the house and made my post questioning if Ford is using the software to reset these windows. So, after loading my wagon in the back, I went through McDonalds to get a sandwich, and when I rolled up my window when I left the Drive-Thru, it didn’t Bounce Back like it has for the past week. So I tried it again, and believe it or not, it’s working fine now. WTF? Both issues working correctly today1?!?!? Explain That!

I have a 25 MAX King Ranch and it's doing the same thing. Tomorrow will be the third trip to the dealer for this in the 10 weeks I've owned it. It's actually getting stupid. Both front windows are bouncing back. I'm curious at what point can I begin to demand further action.
