Back up camera

Does anyone know what the fix is for the back camera issue? Is it the camera or the monitor or something in between? Is there a TSB? Mine has 1400 miles and goes out intermittently. Have appointment next week at dealer.

Mine has been acting up intermittently since she got her second bath - less than 400 miles on the clock. First the rainbow, then a couple power cycles later, no backup camera (black with slight static) and once backup camera was there but really dim. Sounds like I need to get my order in for a camera now. Kinda disappointing for a vehicle with an 84k MSRP :/

hah. Even better. Recall announced today for 700k fords, including expeditions for cameras going dark/black, etc.
