Blue cabin lights

Hello group!
Didn't see anything by searching this topic so here it goes ... Just noticed the other evening that the blue interior cabin lights no longer stay on after the doors are closed. I don't recall messing around with any settings and the map light and other buttons overhead don't affect the blue lights. What am I missing?

"Accent lighting" is what you are looking for. Check the owners manual for that.

My 22 Expy would occasionally randomly shut off the accent lighting and I would need to go into settings and turn back on.

I've gone to advanced settings...nothing there to turn off or on. The manual says I should see Ambient lighting and even be able to change the intencity.... I don't see that either. Been driving it since 2021 and as of a week or so ago..no lights while running at night, only when doors or hatch are opened. Goong in for oil change and tire rotation in a couple weeks, I'll drop it in the dealers lap!

My 22 would do the same thing. It would just randomly turn off the ambient lighting. Would have to go back into the settings and turn the feature back on. It hasn’t happened in a while though.

Try battery voltage---when your battery is low on power. the car automatically stops some functions. I had the interior lighting going away along with no more auto start stop

I actually thought about that because I had a 2011 BOSS 302 and one day I noticed that the drivers door window didn't crack open when I opened the door handle. It still fired up just fine....until a week or later, got a new battery
Im going to get it tested at lunch today and I'll let you know, thank you!!

So I put a new battery in today, Expy was without power for 3 min at most. I had everything loose and ready to pull off the factory batt once I had the new Batt sitting along side. Just hlad the factory battery lasted as long as it did.
Any way...still no light blue ambient lighting in the cabin at night.

Advanced settings...I think you are looking in the instrument cluster menu. The Ambient lighting is in the radio, I think under vehicle settings.

I take a look tonight.
An FYI, the only setting that was lost in the short time it took to switch out batteries was the auto opening running boards. So far it appears that all other features are intact ...except ambient cabin lighting.
