Looking to upgrade the front brakes on my 2001 XLT 4x4, any recommendations?

I currently have 265R70/17 but want to upgrade to 285R70/17 in the not to distant furture. I want to make sure I have more then enought breaking power for the larger wheels. This is the vehicle the wife and kids ride in all the time so need it to be as safe as possible.

Thanks.

I've got Baer rear rotors and Power slot fronts all with Hawk pads, works great.

I am not sure the drilled/slotted rotor will stop any faster than new quality rotors with quality ceramic pads. In our trucks the drilled/slotted is more for looks

I run 285/75/R16's with ceramic pads and OE rotors and the braking is plenty good for me. Ceramics (NAPA brand) made a big difference.
