Call Quality: Static/Poor Audio

My last few calls, using both Android and Apple, and going through the car ('24 SPP Limited Max), have the folks on the other end complaining of severe static/poor call quality. Anyone have any insight? My buddy quickly googled and said my internal mic might be the issue and solution was a factory reset?!? Any truth to that? I don't want to go that route if it can be avoided. TIA!

Static not possible in digital transmissions. I’d rather wonder if you are heating full bore with the fan set on high the car while having a call. Usually the car will slow the fan down during a call and this can be overridden.
