    I don't
I don't believe it. Why is the highly experienced Makuloco Ford man totally against them and why didn't Ford just forgo the whole concept and keep it simple hhmmmm?

Because Ford was late to the game doing what Honda and Toyota had done years before. It has flaws, everyone knows that. Just leave it alone man. Let people do what they want. I know of people who have locked theirs and are happy with it. It’s your opinion. There’s no need to regurgitate what you and everyone else has seen on YouTube. If you can’t say something nice or contribute with first hand experience on the matter, don’t say anything at all.

For the same reason they started putting ONLY the ecooboom in Expeditions and Navigators, and starting the push towards electric vehicles.

If you were a mechanic, though, and had your finger on the pulse of of modern day info, you'd know why.

Fact: phaser lockouts are more reliable than having phasers. Fact: with a tune, locked phaser vehicles will get better mileage.
Fact: you are an argumentive jackass who can't support your own claims. All you can do is call others names.

You wanna impress? Find refuting evidence that actually shows phaser equipped Expeditions (since we're on the subject..) getting better mileage than those without.

Avoid youtube. I want to see factual proof.

That's basically your claim, is it not? That phasers will have better mileage than locked out phasers on an otherwise equal engine?

    LMAO!
I'm not the one posting questions wondering why Ford went to a variable cam timing system, when it's known to sometimes cause problems and can be circumvented via aftermarket to gain reliability and not decrease mileage. So please, keep on acting like a stupid piece of shit, all while claiming to be a mechanic with years of experience.

My FIRST thread that I read here was one in which you were bitching about LED puddle lamps and how they were too bright.

I guess bright lights scare you....sure as there's shit in a cat, there's no bright lights between your ears, in terms of ideas or original thoughts.

Keep up the good work, liberal old whiny bitch.
