According to Ford the Expedition XLT payload is 1,757 to 1,827 lbs. Where are you seeing 1405lbs. Are you referring to an F150?

Where are you seeing this? As I showed in my previous posts all the stickers I am seeing for the 2024 expedition are 1405 lbs.

As per @Mr Big 's link: Make sure vehicle payload (reduced by option weight) will accommodate trailer tongue load weight and weight of passengers and cargo added to towing vehicle.

With all the seemingly random/close payload numbers on the stickers, I would not be surprised if they weigh each vehicle as it rolls off the line, and a printer makes the sticker unique to that vehicle. That way the sticker is 100% accurate according to the DOT rules.

I saw the same when browsing on Autotrader a few weeks ago, where the dealers included actual photos of the sticker, they all had the same payload number. I as looking at limited with excursion pack
