My recently acquired 2019 Limited Stealth has the CCD shocks. I'm wondering what their typical lifespan is? at ~$400 each, I hope they last awhile...

My 2019 Expedition is at 45,500 miles and I have a driver side front CCD leaking. It has been doing that for a while since the sticky fluid has been on my garage floor since 39,000 miles or so. Waiting on the dealer to replace it...they said it is covered under some warranty or my maintenance package that I bought with the truck...
I have been doing some research to see if the electrical connection of Expedition CCD is the same as the Raptor's Live Valve from Fox Shox...as a Mountain Biker, Fox Shox is the name of the game... I have not seen much people on here considering them especially CCD.
I'm considering trying a Raptor Live Valve swap on my SPP Expy. It sure seems like it might be possible. Any input here would be great. If that isn't an option, I'll likely do a set of Gen1 Raptor shocks.Hello all... found this thread after another member contacted us about our device not working on your Expeditions... Early versions that our distributors (Icon, RPG, SVC, Range Offroad, 4WP, etc) were selling were not compatible with the CCD dampers on the Expedition (they would be labeled with part number DID19-FR) however all newer Gen2 DID devices (part number DID19-FRE) now work with both Gen2 Raptor and Expedition vehicles. If you have any questions about these devices, CCD, or LiveValve swaps in general, please reach out and I'll do my best to answer.

The only problem with Gen2 live valve is, what would you do for the rears?I'm considering trying a Raptor Live Valve swap on my SPP Expy. It sure seems like it might be possible. Any input here would be great. If that isn't an option, I'll likely do a set of Gen1 Raptor shocks.
