These are my weights from two different drips.

Right now the thumb screw is 5.5 turns out. I will try lowering it once the RV is back from the shop.

I have been measuring the EXPY heights when it is turned off. Will having it running make any difference with the CCD active?

Thanks for your help.

Looking at the weights unloaded and loaded, it seems like you need to figure out how to get the bars to transfer an additional 250-300lbs to the front vehicle axle... Also am I reading it correctly that you travel with roughly 520lbs of gear in cargo area of the vehicle? can some of that gear be placed in the trailer over the center axles?

Can you list the max axle load ratings from the drivers door jam yellow sticker. I'm wondering if with the tongue weight and the 520 lbs of gear you may be overloading the back axle... If you're within rear axle weight rating that's great. I pulled up a listing for a limited, similar model year as yours and the rear axle rating max was 4380lb and this is with the HD tow package. This would put you in the ball park of being 200-400lbs overweight on the rear axle even with the HD tow package.

Next trip you make to the scales, thread the adjuster in further thus pushing the ball mount away from the shank. Pull the bars up and lock them in one position higher then you previously have, use the tongue jack to raise the rear of the vehicle and trailer tongue to make this easier. Place as much of the gear that you can inside the trailer right atop the axles.

Ideally you should see no more than a 1in drop at the rear, lets hope we can get you there.
