My wife cracked the cover on the instrumental cluster. Dealership wants to charge $500 to change a $20 part. I'm going to try to change it myself, but want to see if any has or has pointers. I have 2022 Limited, and it has the LCD instrumental. I found on youtube a video of how to remove the whole cluster. I'm told I should unplug the battery, but is there any steps I should do with that to avoid messing up the BS or any settings? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.KakaoTalk_20250730_101739439_01.jpg

Since you got nothing much to loose, get some windshield crack repair fluid and just put that to the plastic crack and see what it looks like after?
Still better than my boo boo I did yesterday. Washed my Expy and the forking nozzle on the high pressure washer came off and made 2 small dents into the front fender. Grr.

unfortunately, the scotch tape is covering a small hole so that won't work.

If you have a video, then that's great. I personally wouldn't unplug the battery, but I know the reasons why you'd want to.

Just make sure you have a decent set of trim removal tools/spudgers, so you don't chew up your trim with a flathead screwdriver.
