Last week I tackled the issue with my clogged cats. Got some local quotes around town to replace them ranging from 500 to 1000. After some beers and music a buddy and decided to hollow them out. The right front side (1st chamber of the 4) was melted. Hollowed and cleaned it out really well and then started on the left side. No issues with that however we did hollowed it out to match the other side. The epy is running great again. We still have some pinhole leaks we need to fill but so far no codes being thrown. It's just a matter of time. Has anyone modded non foulers to trick the o2? I read it works but my mechanic friends dont think it will.

How did you follow the 2 cats out? And yes I've heard the non oil foulers faked out the computer. Is your check engine light on now?

We used a pry bar and some long rebar to break it up and move it out. Took some time but it worked well. Once all the big pieces were out we started it up and blew out the dust.

I ran non-foulers on a Sentra SE-R Spec V and they worked well. You'll just have to find ones that thread into the Expedition.

Should be 18mmx1.5 thread. Same as the Ford spark plugs from the 60's/70's.

That's know as a honey do list. And now that your retired, the list gets longer. Problem is, the older we get, the less of the list we can do!

Check Ebay for MIL eliminators. They plug into the rear O2 sensors(only there for emissions). They send correct voltage to the ECM. However, they are for 'off road' use only. I have tried them and they work.
