Help!! I have a 2018 ford expedition limited 3.5l eco boost v6 twin turbo. I started having a slow coolant leak and not were loosing a lot each day. I chopped it up being a leak in the hose, but has anybody had anything similar happen? This is my main daily driver so I need to get this fixed quickly. The weird thing is the coolant level will not drop below this mark. If you can see in the photo, there is a crack on that piece that connects to the reservoir, but I cannot find this hose anywhere online to replace it myself instead of hiring somebody.

I had at least four separate coolant leaks on my 2015 Expedition Limited, purchased ne:

Coolant hose quick connect.
Water pump.
Degas bottle (coolant reservoir).
Turbo cooling line.

The coolant reservoir would leak when the fitting with the metal insert was wiggled - intermittent leak. The dealer replaced the coolant reservoir, which eliminated the leak. The leak was not from the hose connected to it.

My 19 expedition was leaking from the plastic fittings that go into the radiator. It’s a three-piece hose. It’s all one assembly about 200 bucks for the hose and where it connects to the radiator is a plastic fitting and that’s where mine was leaking exact same symptoms as yours.

Dealer wanted $1200 to replace the heater core hose....this might be the same issue. Got Ford corp to drop the cost to around $500, still robbery though.

Watch a few videos of guys replacing the heater hose Y sections on Expeditions and you may have a better understanding of why the labor charge to do so is so high.

That's great but in reality the hose and/or fitting shouldn't fail on a 5-6 year old vehicle.

I wish I didn't relate to this thread. Mine is in the shop right now getting new hoses installed and it's not cheap. I'm thankful that when it puked and blew the over temp warning 2 blocks from my house rather than leaving me and my family in the middle of nowhere at night.
