How can the Ford gold warranty be faked? Only certified Ford dealers can offer that, and if you look at a dealers page, they might have 5 for sale that could be verified, but only ones got the certified warranty.Absolutely no!!! No friggin' way! There are way too many people that will screw ya. Warranties can be made up to look real. How far away from you is it? If you have to have it hop on a plane see it yourself and buy it on the spot and drive it home. I've done that a bunch of times when I was playing with Vettes. The real good dealer will pick up at the airport.
Not to beat this to death but all one has to do is watch the news. There are stories weekly about consumers being defrauded in one way or another. People make up bogus passports, license's, auto titles, property deeds, you name it and you can find somebody that will make up anything you want. Verify, verify. How can the Ford gold warranty be faked? With the way things look, I'll have to get one delivered, or fly to it.
I absolutely hear what you're saying btw, and I have no desire to buy one sight unseen, but that might be a reality for me unfortunately.
Looks like your in TX you should know.. never to buy sight unseen, your surrounded with flood loss cars. RunSo my main question that really remains is, would you buy a vehicle sight unseen if it has the gold certified warranty?
We have a 2019 Max Platinum. With HD tow. Absolutely love it! We bought it with 36,000 miles, two years ago. We have had zero issues. It is a 7 seater with the middle aisle. I hated flipping seats to get to the third row in my Taurus X. I insisted on the aisle so our kids could get in without moving seats. The wife and i are looking at getting an expedition max, and I have a few questions.
I am looking for one with the HD tow package, and an 8 seater. Will probably do the rough country lift too, unless there's a better lift to go with that is in the same pricing ballpark.
The Ford gold certified warranty, does it cover the cam phasers issue, and the transmission issue? Is it worth specifically buying a vehicle that has this warranty, or not?
In between year models 19-22, is there one year that is better than the others? It seems in 22 some interior changes were made, but were there any drive train changes?
In 22 they did away with the automatic running boards, is there a reason for that? I know it's just something to fail, but we want them, so does that mean we would need to go aftermarket for the steps if we get a 22?
Is there a reason a 20 platinum is the same price as a 22 limited with the same amount of miles? What all does the platinum entail that a limited doesn't?
I think that is most of my questions I have, for now.
Thanks for the help in advance.
The only question I can answer is the running boards. I have a 2022 Platinum and I have the folding running boards so as far as I know they are still available. The wife and i are looking at getting an expedition max, and I have a few questions.
