Hey Folks,

need some help here.
I am changing the electrical motor of the transfer case and there is an extra wire coming out the tc to the connector which the new one doesn't have. Do I realy need it, 'cause it seems everything shifting fine from 2wd to 4hi and 4lo. Can I cut it?

Can you tell what color the extra wire is ? I've attached the Transfer Case wiring diagram to help you identify the wire.

It is a single white wire (I think it regulates the auto awd function), but problem was easy to solve: got the wire out of the old connector with a small screwdriver and putted it in the new one. You can put the red security something out of the connector and then push the wire thrue it. Reverse install on the new connector. Sry, for bad english description
