Expedition 2019 Platinum 4A mode really "auto" or is it actually 4H?

For most folks you never want to use 4H or 4L. Icy roads and loose gravel roads where 2H or 4A doesn't work will be the exceptions and then you may need to deactivate traction control so all 4 wheels spin.

Running an Expedition on an"ORV" trail seems a recipe for disaster since these are not real off road vehicles. Not sure the real Bronco is either (the Bronco Sport ain't). Regular tires are poor "off road." You may want something similar to a RZR.

Well, depends on your definition of off-road... ;) Everyone's definition is different. I have no qualms about getting into rough terrain around the farm and pastures, pulling stuff around in such conditions...as long as it doesn't damage the paint...:p

I'm a fan of Matt's Off Road Recovery, on YouTube, though. It's easy to get stuck even in what appears to be mild conditions.
