When I take off from a stop it feels like I have knobby tires. But I don’t. It only lasts a few seconds until the speed increases. Any ideas? Thx in advance.

Different model year - but when I accelerated gently and smoothly with my 2015 Expedition Limited, I would get a rumble as if I was driving on the rumble strip on the edge of the road. It was intermittent and would go away as I went faster (or let off the gas pedal).

Soon, the transmission failed and the dealer said one of the items was a failed torque converter.

Any noise with the feeling? Is the rear-differential fluid good?

You say you "feel" it. Do you feel it under your ass or in your hands while on the steering wheel.
