Hello everyone,

About three weeks ago, I purchased a 2022 Expedition with the Stealth Performance Package (304A), and I’ve been gradually transferring upgrades from my 2015 model.

Here are the modifications I've completed so far:

1. ReadyLift 3/2 Lift Kit for VCD (SKU: 69-2831): One important note not mentioned in the instructions is the need to rotate the rear struts for proper orientation, as the ReadyLift spacers turn the struts 180 degrees. I encountered the same requirement on the kits for my 2015 and 2016 models. I also recommend using a quality set of spring compressors with a bracket to prevent twisting. The overall installation process was straightforward and took about five hours.

2. Nitto Recon Grapplers LT285/55R22 tires

3. Black Rhino Kunene 22x9.5 wheels

4. Mishimoto Passenger Side Oil Catch Can (Item #: T574436)

5. Injen Power-Flow Cold Air Intake (Item #: T558583)

6. VTA plug: I’m undecided on replacing the blow-off valve, as the intake and VTA modification already provide noticeable turbo sounds.

Despite being designed for a Raptor, both the catch can and intake fit perfectly with no need for modifications.

One issue I’ve noticed is how far forward the rear wheels sit in the wheel well after the lift. This is due to the suspension geometry pushing the axle forward when raised, and while I understand the mechanics, it bothers me aesthetically. I’ve been searching for extended or adjustable lower trailing arms, but so far, Rough Country seems to be the only option. They offer a 3" lift kit with extended trailing arms for $1,250 or just the arms for $700. I may opt for them eventually.

Other than minor rubbing at full lock, everything else is performing well. The tires are about 34.5", and I’m pleased with the overall setup since I rarely turn the wheel that far.

Looking ahead, I have several more modifications on the way, including factory Raptor upfitter switches, additional lights (ditch, grill, rear), a Livernois tune, and possibly Baja Forged bumpers and a Titan V2 intercooler.

Yes CCD still functions just fine with the ReadyLift kits. It's a spacer that goes on top of the existing strut with brackets to keep the sensors in the right working range. Only way to lift a CCD rig and still keep CCD functional. The Rough Country arms are a nice option, because I agree the rear wheel getting pulled to the front looks...not ideal.

Does the lift negate the CCD? IMHO, a lift on the SPP 304a would ruin the smooth drive given by the CCD with more road and wind noise.
Nope, CCD struts are still there and do the same thing as before.

Seriously, could someone shed some light on this? Will a lift such as this work with the CCD system?
Yes as this truck comes with CCD. If you look at the leveling kit, it says that it's specifically for CCD and comes with the brackets to relocate the sensors.
