I hated any of the strap on junk. They all shook so bad they were useless. I didn’t want to replace my OEM mirrors because I like the power fold, blind spot monitoring, etc and frankly I just like the color matched look of my oem side mirrors. So after spending an hour trying out every single set of molded slide on mirrors at camping world, I finally found that the ones with the best fit were a completely different make. I want to say they were for the Ram? I’ll take photos in a bit when it’s light out and if anyone really wants to know which part number they were I can see if I can find it.

I would be interested in the part number. What year and model Expo do you have? I have a 2017 limited and not sure if the mirrors are different for each model and year?
Thanks

I really don't believe that the mirrors are different on any of them and I'm pretty sure our doors haven't changed. What I do believe changes electrical wiring. When I got my mirrors there were two wires that were not connected intentionally. In the instructions they told you where to put them according to each generation.

So I took the boat out for the first time using my mirrors the other day, and I have to say it was really nice to be able to drive down the road and if I needed to change lanes I didn't have to do a little swerve in my Lane to be able to see around my boat lol. They do take a bit of getting used to, however once you do they will make your life a lot easier backing your trailers up.
The picture is taken late at night so you can see that the boats quite large it made it a breeze.d6137745e8fa7edf094affe8578467eb.jpg

Can anyone say why some 3rd gens have an integrated convex mirror whereas others do not?

Is it a standard length versus EL thing? Certain years? Unmentioned tow package addition for some years? Do you give up this feature with BLIS?

OEM, not stick-on aftermarket, as you can see:

Another example, but interestingly this one isn't power fold:

Passenger side example:

Who knows...i though it might be a premium/EL/latemodel feature that was bounced down from the Navigator design (my '12 Gator L has em, my '09 SSV didn't)

BUT.... just the other day, I saw a 15-17 ecoboost Gator L at the grocery store, and it had plain basic mirrors????? No clue why
