For those of you who tow a travel trailer, what mirrors to pick?

Our soon to arrive TT is 8' wide. I had the stock Ford extended towimg mirrors on our Transit. They would look just ugly on the Expy if they would even fit.

Anyone have a mirror they like ?

I noticed tht someone is selling a blind spot monitor for trailers now. That might be interesting as well.

I Pull our 33ft TT all summer with the standard mirrors. Never needed anything else.

Only thing I added was a camera to the back with a screen in the cab for backing up.

Edit: as for blind spot, depending on your year, trim, options, and TT length, the blind spot works in towing mode once you program the trailer dimensions into the Expy.

I use the standard mirrors while towing a 35' travel trailer, as I have with previous 2nd and 3rd gen Expeditions. An aftermarket camera mounted on the rear of the TT gives me blind spot info for lane changes as the factory system won't reach that far back. I've never needed anything more.

I've used the same set of McKesh mirrors for almost 25 (!) years. Strap on the few times I tow my travel trailer. Mirrors are set about a foot wider on both sides than the trailer -- like a cat's whiskers if the mirrors fit the trailer will fit.

Not exotic. Just work. I store the mirrors in the trailer along with the WDH -- no searching the garage when we want to go camping.

Same as others have said, the standard mirrors work just fine for me and I've towed my 30+ foot travel trailer 10's of thousands of miles across the Western US. That said, there are several good options for clip-on's already posted if it would make you feel safer.
